Ponderosa Way
« on: February 04, 2013, 03:31:26 PM »
Since it hadn't snowed for for eons, and ZCracker suggested a drive, I thought Ponderosa Way might be passable, as the high spot is around 4000 ft.  We drove from Cohasset to Paynes Creek.  I only took one pic, but I saw other cameras going.
This is climbing up out of Black Rock at sunset.

It is a day trip when you don't have to cut out 30+ trees, and go through a couple miles of 2ft deep snow drifts.  It ended up just being a long day trip.
