Assemblyman Logue to Host Town Hall on the Fire Tax

On Tuesday, September 25th, Assemblyman Dan Logue, Chairman of the Assembly Republican Caucus Working Group on Jobs and Economic Recovery, will host a town hall on taxes including issues such as the Fire Tax, Propositions on the November ballot to raise taxes, and taxes that hurt small businesses. The program is informational and will begin at 5:30pm.

Where: Chico Masonic Family Center - 1110 West East Avenue, Chico

When:  September 25th 5:30pm - 7:30pm

"Californians are some of the most overtaxed people in the country," said Logue, "This townhall is about hearing how this huge tax burden is putting additional strain on the everyday lives of citizens in the North State."

Joining Logue will be retired State Senator, and current State Board of Equalization Member, George Runner, and David Wolfe, Legislative Director of the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association. Wolfe will be discussing the lawsuit put forward by his association to protect those Californians living in the State Responsibility Area (SRA) - who are being subjected to California's new "Fire Tax".
