BC S&R just said 3 subjects are acounted for.

HAM Radios rule!!!

EDIT: Which I am sure Nick carries his radio with him so the S&R would not have been needed!  ;)

If anyone has more info, please post up.  Curious who this was and what cabin they were in.

The map they showed on the news didn't make sense, they showed a cabin about 1/2 way between Philbrook lake and the "Soda Ridge/Coon Hollow" turn off. I don't recall a cabin in that area.

We saw them as Suzy and I went in.  Tweakers.  3 of them, one sled, and that truck.  Then we actually stopped at S-Line on the way out after passing the chick alone on the sled a day later.  She stayed about 150 ft from us and watched us until I called her over.  I asked her if she was OK, and she said oh yea.  So we took off.  Tweakers, just look at the pics on chicoer.com.  Doubtful they got anywhere near Philbrook.  Too hard to get there.  But there are those three cabins around the area by Fish Creek.

Interesting.  Looks like they enjoyed the publicity a little too much, posing on the snowmobile and all.

Plus we had our ham radios and were not afraid to use them.
