Geez, I had no idea how great it is to wheel with good tires.

Fender flares are the next project. Thanks to Chicomecha and his engineering skills!

AWESOME trip.  More in the trips thread.

Gheto fender flares

After cutting the fenders,  had to have some way to keep the mud off me.

Here's a few pics of the gheto fender flares,  they are really old-school,  the way it had to be done in the olden days, before companies actually make them.  They simply don't any more for mine,  unless you count the engineer Chicomecha who is responsible for the rears.   The fronts which I did, simply don't compare..  BUT THEY WORK !   Pretty not,  work   YEAH!  No more mud on me.

And then Pipejam promptly ripped them right back off on the next two trips :'(  Are they back on yet?

Well,    ummmmm,  one is,  sorta.

After I moved some air hoses,  and some gas tank filler pipes OUT of the wheel well,  and carved with my 'precision' sawsall some more meat, I did sorta re-mount one.

PipeJam may get it again, this weekend, though.

The other one I'll do something with before this trip.

Know anyone with more rubber stuff?    And maybe some attachment hardware?

Haaaaaaaaa,  'ya just had to ask,  huh?    ???
