auto log in
« on: October 12, 2007, 05:43:56 AM »
4x4TF used to recognize me as soon as I clicked on a topic, and other boards like the Philbrooklake.com Forum recognize me when it opens.  Can I get TF to do it again so I don't have to manually log in?  Or is that a bad idea for my computer's security?

The issue / problem is that we both have multiple installations of SMF. In my case they have different passwords (although I could fix that as it is a trivial matter to do so)  But I think that is where the issue lies.

Nope, that wasn't the issue ...   but I finally found it and fixed it...  now also the location bar reads correctly.

Guess some who had www.pantheus.com/tf/index.php  may not now get here ,  but it is now right,  and logging in automagically?
